At AM Tech Plaques, we make the process of ordering your custom plaque or architectural lettering simple and straightforward. While the original Wheeler Brother Foundry in Troy, NY, closed in the 1980s, Morrie Wheeler continued the business under A.M. Tech Inc., maintaining the same level of service by outsourcing orders to a reputable operating foundry in the U.S. Since 2018, his daughter, Emily Wheeler, has proudly taken over to keep this cherished family legacy alive, ensuring the same dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.

How to Request a Quote or Place an Order

To get a quote or place an order for your custom bronze plaque, aluminum plaque, or architectural lettering, please follow these steps:

  1. Initial Inquiry via Email: Email Emily Wheeler (the 4th Generation Wheeler) at wheeler@amtechbronze.com specifying what you are looking for. Please include details such as desired words, size, material (e.g., bronze, aluminum, specific architectural letter type), vector graphics (if applicable) and any other preferences.
  2. Artwork Proof & Revisions: Following your initial email, we will create a digital proof of your plaque or lettering design. This proof will be sent to your provided email address for your review. Please carefully check the proof for accuracy, quality, and layout. Any changes requested at this stage will be made, and a revised proof will be sent upon request until you are completely satisfied.
  3. Final Approval & Production: Once you determine the proof is correct and approve the design, please notify us by email to proceed. At this time, you will also need to provide your full physical shipping address and specify what the plaque or lettering will be mounted on (e.g., brick, stone, wood, interior wall). Upon your final approval, we will issue an invoice and will begin the casting or production process.
  4. Payment Options: After your final approval, you can complete your purchase using one of the following convenient methods:
    • Payment by Check: You can send a check for the full amount of your order, made out to: Emily Wheeler PO Box 126 New Baltimore, NY 12124
    • Payment by Credit Card: For your convenience, we also accept credit card payments. Upon your final approval, we will provide you with a secure link to our online payment gateway or send an invoice with a direct payment link. This allows you to pay safely and efficiently using your credit card.

    • If possible, please add any attachments (images, documents, or PDFs only) of what you are looking for or any design inspiration.
    • Important: If you are ordering a San Diego Historical Designation Plaque, please specify this clearly.
